Records indicate that Prague Castle is the largest castle area in the world. Its three courtyards and a number of magnificent buildings cover over 7 hectares (18 acres) and is a beautiful site to see in the evening hours. The castle complex located in Prague, Czech Republic, dating from the 9th century is the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia, Holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia and this picture is taken across the reflective Vltava River.
