The Massive The Lovrijenac Fortress in Dubronik, Croatia 35096

This Lovrijenac fortress print was taken in Dubronik, Croatia and can be ordered as a rolled canvas, mounted canvas on a thin gallery wrap .75" thick or the larger mount, which is our thick gallery wrap mount at 1.5" thick!  Of course our logo will be removed when printed.  

A one time functional structure, and now primarily historic, The Lovrijenac fortress was built at the top of a 37 meter high sheer rock which overlooks the sea. The Lovrijenac fortress, dated at somewhere between 1018 and 1038, is one of the most impressive locations in Dubrovnik. This detached fortress was of prime importance for the defense of the western part of Dubrovnik, both against attack from land and the sea. During its service, the fortress was manned by 25 man garrison and a commander of the fort.
